Welcome to Pandemonium's Graphic Moot!
Hosted by Pandy employees Katrina and Ben in our newest events room. Pandemonium's graphic novel book club will take place every 1st or 2nd Tuesday of the month allowing for holidays and reading time. We aim to allow readers 3-4 weeks to read each title before each meeting. Each month, an email will be sent to announce when the book of the month is available for pick up in store--and will usually be available at the previous month's meeting. Graphic novels are very different medium and deserve their own space to discuss. This group will offer a closer look at the stories, art, and unique way of storytelling. Some of the content gets really intense and can be triggering. Graphic Moot is for adults 18 and up. This is safe space and all attendees are expected to treat each other with respect.
As a reminder, the price for the meeting is the cost of the book, so will vary per month. We will frequently be reading the first 2 volumes of a story since the graphic medium typically moves much faster than other novels. We will still do our best to cap the cost at $28.99. Our first title will be Monstress Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 by illustrator Sana Takeda local author Marjorie Liu.
RULES FOR ATTENDING:
- Proof of COVID vaccination is required at EVERY EVENT. Either the presentation of the physical card or a clear picture will suffice. Pandemonium does not keep any records, written or otherwise, of vaccination status.
- Advance online registration is required.
- Anyone not registered in an ongoing event will not be allowed in the event space to maintain capacity limits.
- Masks are required and must be kept on unless drinking. No food will be allowed in our event space for the time being.
